Climate Anxiety to Climate Action

Feeling overwhelmed about the climate crisis? You’re not alone. As headlines grow more urgent, climate anxiety is becoming very real. The key isn’t to ignore it, but to channel it meaningfully.

  • Start with one meaningful habit: Pick a high-impact action, like reducing energy use or buying less, and focus on doing it consistently rather than trying to do everything at once.
  • Limit doom-scrolling or information overload: Stay informed but set boundaries. Constant negative news is overwhelming and leads to inaction.
  • Join something: Community groups, climate initiatives, or local projects turn individual concern into collective action.
  • Take a break in nature: Spend time outdoors, in parks or gardens. It’ll help reset your mind, reduce stress, and reconnect you with what you’re trying to protect.
  • Celebrate small wins: Every positive change counts. Celebrating progress, however slow, helps build momentum and keeps motivation high.

With small but steady actions, you can be a part of the solution.
