One of the many ways to play a part in the fight against climate change is to volunteer your time and energy to help the organisations trying to mobilise society.

Co-incidentally or perhaps not, EcoCounts is looking for a volunteer for this Saturday (July 1st 2023) to help at our “Empower Change” workshop. More details about the workshop here: building a sustainable future together workshop.

If you can only volunteer another time or have a different favourite organisation you’d like to volunteer for, just do it or sign on to a local volunteer hub like Volunteer Action Islington to see a stream of volunteering opportunities.

As for EcoCounts, our most reliable volunteer just dropped out and nobody else can help either on the day. We need someone to help manage the event – the post-it notes, flip charts, pens, food, letting people in, answering random questions, telling the film maker where to go, being nice to the guest speaker etc. There’s food and the chance to learn about what we’re doing and the treasurer can sort out any expenses.

If you are willing and available, please drop us a line via the contact form or email address at the bottom of the page.
