Stroud Green Primary – Let’s Go Fresko

Stroud Green Primary in Finsbury Park agreed to draft me in with a team of Freskers to give their Year 6 pupils the Kids Climate Fresk workshop. There were 5 of us volunteers and 32 ten/eleven-year-olds, with their teacher Cheryl and their assistant teachers watching on the sidelines.

Even these young kids can pick up the details that often adults at the workshop struggle with – the chemistry, agriculture, the weather, even the circularity of human and planet interactions. Judging by the decibel level of their shouts at the end, the kids enjoyed the workshop, and we five freskers left with great admiration for their teacher, who manages this crowd on their own!
