Impact 2024

In 2024, EcoCounts delivered funded programmes across our operating area of Westminster, Islington, Camden, Haringey, Hackney and the City of London, combining workshops, peer-learning and community outreach. Activity reached 275 event sign-ups and 88 participants in core workshop sessions, drawn from a diverse mix of ethnic and age groups. Outputs included school partnerships, faith-community sessions, a custom-designed climate card game, and 25 full personal carbon footprints recorded by student and graduate volunteers. Participants reported increased climate knowledge, stronger motivation, reduced isolation, and concrete behaviour change in travel, food and home-energy use. Alongside grant income, the charity began building up individual donations as a steadier source of unrestricted funds. EcoCounts closed the year with Charity Commission filings up to date and reserves sufficient to carry momentum into 2025.
