  • This week's inspiration: Inspired by ACTionism, we’re spotlighting the beauty of keeping things alive. Whether it’s sewing a missing button, patching up a backpack, or bringing a pre-loved bike back onto the road, the greenest product is often the one already in your hands.
  • The idea of fixing things or upcycling doesn’t have to involve complex craft skills, either, often, it just takes a bit of everyday creativity. Bought a bag of dark chocolate-covered crystallised ginger that turned out way too sweet as a snack? Before throwing it out, think about how else it can live on: chop it up for baking, sprinkle it into your morning cereals, or even toss a few pieces into a savoury stew to replace both sugar and fresh ginger!

  • Over to you:Have you repaired or upcycled something recently? Reply to this email and let us know, we’d love to feature your projects in upcoming issues!
